About me
When I’m not in session with clients, you can find me trying something new, whether it be new food, roller skating, or an outdoor event. I love spending time with my sweet fur baby, Nala. I enjoy painting and relaxing as well as going to live music events from artists I know and love. I really enjoy exploring and finding new artists as well. If you share you went to a concert in session, you might hear me ask you what artist!
Having the courage to take such a big step in your healing is something that will bring about many emotions. My goal is to offer a space in which we work through life’s inevitable challenges together. I offer goal oriented and strength-based care for my clients. I believe that you have a strength within you that will be beneficial in your healing. I genuinely care for my clients and believe everyone has the capacity within them to live a life they feel fulfillment in.
I gained my degree from Northwest University in clinical mental health counseling. I currently hold licensure in Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and work under supervision with an incredible supervisor. I strive to hold a genuine therapeutic relationship with my clients by coming into session with a gentle, accepting, and warm energy. My goal is to make my clients feel heard and understood. I will come to you with genuine curiosity about your inner and outer world. I will come into session as my own authentic self, I welcome you to come as your authentic self too.
From a young age, I had a curiosity of the joys and the trials of life. I asked myself how two opposing human sentiments can co-exist at one moment in time. I have always been attuned to life’s challenges and the challenges that those surrounded me faced as a first-generation Mexican American woman. It is with this same curiosity that I come in session with clients.
